The 1st International Conference on Forestry Science and Technology Innovation and the Forum on Forestry Journal Development will be held in Changchun, Jilin, China, from June 26 to 29, 2026. The conference will bring together leading scholars and experts in forestry from around the world to engage in discussions on frontier scientific issues and key technological innovations in the field. It aims to promote the exchange and sharing of high-level research achievements, build a high-level international academic platform, and foster global dialogue and collaboration in forestry research.

The conference will focus on major research themes, including forest resources and ecosystems, forestry biotechnology, smart forestry, and digital transformation. Renowned experts, journal Editors-in-Chief, and editorial board members from home and abroad will be invited to discuss emerging disciplinary trends and new models of scholarly communication, thereby advancing the coordinated development of scientific innovation and forestry journal publishing.

The conference will be chaired by Researcher Huaiqing Zhang (Research Institute of Forest Resource Information Techniques, Chinese Academy of Forestry) and Professor Zong-Ming Cheng (Nanjing Agricultural University).

The Co-Chairs will be Professor Hongxia Ma (Vice President of Jilin Agricultural University), Professor Xiyang Zhao (Deputy General Manager of Jilin Changbai Mountain Forestry Industry Group Co., Ltd.), Professor Shihui Niu (Beijing Forestry University), and Professor Chunyang Li (Zhejiang University).
